TiviMate vs OTT Navigator vs IPTV Smarters vs My TV Player: one table for all four
Four players, two tables. The first one decides most cases on its own: which of them actually runs on the screen you own.
Three of these four players are Android applications. One is ours, and it is the only one with a Windows or Xbox build. That makes the first table below the one that decides most cases, before any feature matters.
Every competitor cell comes from the product's own store listing or documentation, checked on 2026-10-02. Where we could only find a third-party source, the cell says "reported". Where a feature is not mentioned anywhere we could read, it says "not listed", which is not the same as "no".
Where each one runs
| TiviMate | OTT Navigator | IPTV Smarters Pro | My TV Player | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV | Yes | Yes | APK | No |
| Android phone and tablet | Not optimised | Yes | APK | No |
| iPhone, iPad, Apple TV | No | No | Lite app, M3U only | No |
| Windows | No | No, emulator only | No store build from the developer | Yes, native |
| Xbox Series X and S | No | No | No | Yes (beta) |
| On Google Play on 2026-10-02 | Yes | No | No | Not applicable |
| Web console to manage it | No | Not listed | Not listed | Yes |
If your screen is an Android TV box, the choice is between the first 3 columns and this page will not change your mind. If it is a PC or an Xbox, only the last column installs. The Windows and Xbox guides compare it against the other players that do run there.

How to read the second table
TiviMate is the polished one: our own product notes name it as the interface to beat on Android TV. OTT Navigator is the configurable one, with the longest list of archive formats and a 9-stream Studio mode. Smarters is the one providers hand out, and the hardest to pin down, because so many copies of it carry other publishers' names. We could not find a page from its developer that loaded, so its cells lean on a third-party guide.
What none of the three has is the account model. Each of them is set up on the device, and a second device means setting it up again or restoring a file. My TV Player keeps 13 kinds of state on the account, so favourites, channel order, progress and watchlist are the same on the PC and the console, and the console signs in with a code rather than a typed login:
PC add playlist in the web console or the Windows app
favourite 12 channels, start a film
Xbox sign in with the 8-character code
the 12 favourites are there, the film resumes where you paused
The three Android players are compared one by one in the TiviMate alternative for PC and Xbox, the OTT Navigator comparison and the IPTV Smarters comparison.
What we do not do
No Android build, no iPhone, no smart TV app: Windows and Xbox are the 2 platforms we ship. The console app has no recording and no multiview. Stalker portals are in beta. If those matter for your screens, one of the other 3 columns is the right answer, and we would rather you knew that now.
