A TiviMate alternative for PC and Xbox: My TV Player, feature by feature
TiviMate is the reference IPTV player on Android TV, and it has no Windows or Xbox build. If your screens are a PC and a console, this is what replaces it, and what it adds.
People who search for a TiviMate alternative on PC are usually in one of two places. They have used TiviMate on an Android TV box and want the same thing on a laptop, a desktop or an Xbox. Or they read that TiviMate is the best IPTV player, went to install it on Windows, and found nothing to install.
There is no official TiviMate for Windows, macOS, iPhone or Xbox. We checked the Microsoft Store, the console store and the App Store on 2026-10-02. We could not find an official build in any of them, only lookalikes. Running the Android app inside an emulator works for some people, and it is not the same thing as a native player: one more layer between the stream and the graphics card, built for a remote it does not have, and no route to a console at all.
My TV Player is a native player for exactly the 2 platforms TiviMate leaves out, Windows and Xbox. Here is how the two compare, with every TiviMate cell taken from its own Google Play listing.

"Not listed" means the feature is not named on TiviMate's listing. It may exist inside the app. We would rather undercount a competitor than invent a "no".
What TiviMate does well
Our own product strategy, written for ourselves long before this page, names TiviMate as the player to beat on interface quality, guide handling and performance on Android TV. That is our assessment and it is not neutral, but it is not a polite gesture either.
The idea it established, that a television interface is not a shrunken desktop interface, is the one every player in this category now copies, ours included. Our console build scales its type 25 percent for distance and puts a button hint bar on every screen for the same reason. How we compare with TiviMate as a design goes into that history.
If your television is an Android TV and you have no PC or Xbox in the picture, TiviMate is a good choice and we are not an option there today.
What My TV Player adds
One account instead of one device. TiviMate is configured on the device. Set up a second box and you configure it again, or restore a backup file. My TV Player keeps 13 kinds of state on the account: sources, favourites, custom groups, channel order and renames, resume points, watchlist, multiview layouts, sport picks and more. Add a playlist on the PC and the Xbox already has it.
Setup in a browser, sign-in with a code. Playlists and guide sources are added in the web console or the Windows app, where there is a keyboard. The console shows an 8-character code and a QR, and signs itself in once you claim it on your phone. Nothing is typed with a remote.
A household. Up to 10 profiles, each with its own favourites, history and progress. Kid profiles get a rating gate, a bedtime and a daily time limit, and a parent can approve more time from a phone.
A film and series library. TMDB posters, 7 sort orders, continue watching across devices, trailers on Windows, subtitles that stay picked per series and arrive on their own for the next episode, and intro skipping.
A desktop that acts like one. Multiview from 2 to 9 tiles, recording to your own disk, picture-in-picture that floats above other windows, HDR output and audio passthrough. The Windows comparison covers those against other Windows players.
Moving your setup across
The playlist is yours, not TiviMate's, so nothing has to be exported from it. You enter the same details once, in the web console:
Xtream Codes M3U playlist
server http://provider.example.com:8080 URL http://provider.example.com/get.php?...
username your username
password your password Guide (XMLTV)
URL http://provider.example.com/xmltv.php?...
Favourites and channel order do not carry over, because TiviMate keeps them on the device. Rebuilding them is a one-time job; after that they follow you to every screen on the account.
One thing to watch if you keep both: two players on 2 devices against a 2-connection line is your whole allowance. Max connections explains the accounting.
The short version
If your screen is an Android TV, use TiviMate. If your screens are a PC, an Xbox, or both, TiviMate is not available and My TV Player is built for that pair: the same guide, library and favourites on both, set up once. Start with the Xbox guide or the Windows one, depending on where you watch most.
